How to Choose Eyeliners That Are Easy to Use and Last All Day
Eyeliners shape and bring out the eye, especially for those who have sparse or light-colored eyelashes. Some of us have
trouble using eyeliner correctly. We also have lots of choices. There are gel eyeliners, liquid eyeliners, pencil eyeliner
or even mineral eyeshadows as an eyeliner. And there are a lot of personal preferences that do not work for everyone.
For the average everyday user, pencil liners are probably the easiest to use. Liquid eyeliners usually require a steady
hand to get it right. The advantage to liquid eyeliners is that it doesn't fade as fast as pencil liners. Gel liners are
in between. They are easier to apply than liquid liners but last longer than most pencils. It also depends on how oily or
dry your eyelids are. Pencils don't last well on oily eyelids or on women who are active and sweat a lot. Those of us who
have teary eyes from allergies or dry eyes also need an eyeliner that will last better than pencil liners.

I like Estee Lauder Automatic Eye Pencil Duo because it is very easy to use since it is a pencil, you never have to sharpen it and you can buy refills. Being able to buy refills makes this pencil less expensive than most department store brands. I like this pencil for travel because it is not a liquid or gel so it gives me more room to put my other cosmetics in that small quart size plastic bag. It may not last as long but it is easy and quick to touch up with a sponge tip on the opposite end of the liner that makes it easy to fix smudges.
