I am reviewing here are products that help dry and wrinkled lips.
First do not lick or chew dry lips! I know it is tempting to chew off the dry, dead skin but it only makes it worse. After
removing lipstick at night, apply a good lip balm just like you apply moisturizers to your face after you wash off your makeup.
If you don't want to buy a separate lip moisturizer, an eye cream will work as well to moisturize. But eye cream will not have
some of the healing ingredients found in many lip balms. So if you have a tendency for dry, cracked lips invest in a good lip
balm.
I have found three products that I like that are good at both getting rid of dry skin on the lips and at moisturizing. There are probably other lip masks/exfoliators available but I haven't tried them. There are lots of good lip balms. I have listed a few that I like.
Mary Kay Satin Lips Set has a lip mask and a lip balm. The lip mask is an exfoliator that buffs away the dry skin and then the lip balm moisturizes. It is my favorite lip treatment.
Beauticontrol Skinlogics Lip Apeel also is a lip mask and lip balm that works very similarly. I like the Mary Kay exfoliator a little better and Mary Kay products are easier to find that Beauticontrol products. Beauticontrol products can be purchased on the Beauticontrol website.
Shiseido Benefiance Full Correction Lip Treatment is an exfoliator and hydrator. It is expensive but a very good lip treatment.
Good Quality Lip Balms
Sally Hansen's 18 Hour Lip Treatment is great to treat dry lips and is also a lip gloss. It can be hard to find except
online. Some drugstores carry it.
Skin Actives Liquid Rainbow Lip Treatment is a favorite of many but I have not tried it. Let me know what you think in the Blog post about Favorites. It is only available on the Skin Actives site.
