All women are constantly searching for that perfect mascara that lengthens, thickens, curls . . . but does not clump.
Maybelline Great Lash is my favorite "best value buy" mascara. You may need to use an eyelash comb to eliminate any clumps but it does a great job thickening and lengthening lashes for the price.
Lancôme - Defincils has been around for a long time and has won multiple awards and is a reasonably priced department store mascara. It is less inclined to clump than the cheaper drugstore brands and does a very good job of lengthening and thickening lashes.
Lancôme's Oscillation - the first vibrating mascara. The battery-operated wand generates 7,000 vibrations, or oscillations, per minute and recreates the zig-zag motion that makeup artists use to get long, gorgeous lashes. In July, Lancôme invited the top beauty editors and bloggers to try the product and see a demonstration on three models with different lash types, including very short and straight lashes.
Other brands that are highly recommended are:
Hypnose
Prescriptives Beyond Long Maximum Length, or
Lash Envy (best waterproof)
Loreal voluminous
For high end mascaras favored by actors, makeup artists and models, check out Chanel and Dior - these are expensive but some may feel they are worth it.
