Volumize, Texturize and Control Frizz
Styling products can be a fix for bad hair days. We use mousse or gel to control frizz, add texture and volume, and to help hold the style we spend so much time on with our hairdryers and flat irons.
The way to get the best results from mousse and gels is to get the appropriate product for your hair's texture and type. Be sure not to use too much or it can make your hair seem sticky or stiff. Depending on your hair type, you may need to spend more to get a high quality mousse that works best for you.
Gels tend to provide a more textured or structured look while foamy mousses provide volume and hold with a softer, more natural look. If you are trying to get volume, apply the mousse to the roots to add lift. Drying your hair with your head upside down can also help increase body.
Mousses that are made for curly hair include ingredients to help control frizz and make the hair more manageable.
